Holden 6 Cylinder Engine
The Holden 6 Cylinder engine was produced by General Motors - Holden from 1960s to 1980s for popular Holden models including the Holden LC Torana and LJ Torana.
The 6 Cyl Models of the LC Torana had a long wheelbase and a longer front bonnet to make room for a much larger engine.
The LC/LJ 6-cylinder engine with triple carburetors, on the other hand, is a high-performance variant of the LC and LJ engines. The engine is an inline-six with a cast-iron block and head. The standard 202ci (3.3-liter) engine produced about 120 horsepower, but with the triple carbs configuration, power output increased significantly, especially with the Stromberg carburetor units.
