Which marble will follow which track and who will reach the bottom first?
The Marble Run Stepped Hoist has a 3-marble setup where the third marble releases the trapped first and second marbles, sending all three along different paths. There are three wooden marble race tracks: one with a 2-marble setup and twists, another with a swinging hammer in a C-shaped holder, and the third with a whirlpool or funnel. All marbles eventually end up in the collection tray and onto the seesaw lift. A rocker switch can send marbles back to the lift or (here's the exciting part!) to another connected Ugears marble run.
We designed the Ugears marble run series to be modular. Each model can work on its own or connect to other Ugears marble runs of the same or different designs. You can connect 2 or 4 models using special connectors in the kit. The rocker mechanism at the end of the run can send marbles in different directions, depending on weight, either back to the hoist or to another marble run. With connected marble runs, you create a complex system powered by a single crank. It's like a tiny amusement park!
