History
The F-117A Nighthawk Stealth Bomber, also referred to as the Ghost of Baghdad, was the first Stealth Focused fighter plane which was mass-produced for military use by Lockheed Martin. Its maiden flight was in 1981 from Groom Lake, Nevada but wasn’t revealed to the public until 1988.
Commonly referred to as the Stealth Fighter, it was technically an Attack Aircraft only, with streamlined stealth properties and was based on the Have Blue technology demonstrator
Its most notable uses have been in the Gulf War of 1991 (Operation Desert Storm), the Panama combat of 1989, and the Afghan & Iraq wars of 2001-2003.
This aircraft kit contains decal sheets to make aircraft number 813 (Colonel Whitely’s Aircraft), The Toxic Avenger, and Training Squadron.
Assembling Details
- Includes Plastics parts, and decal sheets
- Unpainted and assembled Model that needs to be built and cemented together from scratch with parts and instructions provided
- Paint and Cement are not included but will be required for a completed look.
