A major upgrade in this battle tank from M1 "Abrams" to M1A1 added greater capabilities compared to the last model. The M1A1 was distinguished by its more powerful firepower and better defence.
The M1A1 has been modified with precipitant uranium armour since 1988. The first modernised M1A1, "Abrams," entered service with the U.S. Armed Forces in 1986. They were initially deployed in the German Federated Republic as part of U.S. tank forces.
M1A1 Abrams Model Kit
The Australian M1A1 Abrams tank is from Trumpeter and comes in a large sized 1/16 Scale. The kit includes plastic sprue, a photo etched fret, rubber, and a decal sheet. There are more than 1300 parts in the kit with screws, 22 sprues, upper hull, lower hull, and turret.
The model also features a multi-slide moulded lower and upper hull and individual track links. To complete this kit, you must assemble it as per the instructions and paint it for a final finish.
