The 1957 Chevrolet� Bel Air� is arguably one of the most popular cars ever built by General Motors. Its a true American classic that remains popular with restorers and hot rodders. Highlights of the 57 Chevy� included the newly optional fuel-injected 283-cubic-inch V-8 engine which in top form was rated at 283 horsepower, meeting the mythical standard of one horsepower per cubic inch of displacement.
This highly detailed 1/25-scale Revell kit of the 57 Chevy Bel Air two-door sedan is made from modern-era tooling and can be built factory stock or as a tastefully modified street machine with a lowered suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, and custom wheels with low-profile tires. The highly detailed Chevy small-block V-8 engine can be built with the iconic Rochester fuel-injection system, a factory-stock four-barrel carburetor setup, or hot rodded with chrome dress-up parts including an open-element air cleaner, alternator, and custom finned valve covers.
